How to Book
You can reserve places on our day excursions by phoning 02392 359168 or by calling in at our office in 3A Spur Road, Cosham, Portsmouth, PO6 3DY. You can also book on day trips via one of our agents at The Tourist Information offices at The Hard, Southsea and Hayling Island. Davis World Travel in Portchester also Fareham Bus Station in the First Bus Office. We are open from 9:00am to 5:00pm weekdays and from 8:30am to 11:00am on Saturdays. If you wish to book private coach hire, you may telephone the office with your requirements, we will need written confirmation of your details in order to secure your booking, you may also email confirmation to us on visiontravels@aol.com or you may fax us details on 02392 361253.

Payment
Please note that reservations for day trips must be paid in full at time of booking.Theatre Trips require a minimum of £10 per person deposit and the balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the show. For private coach hire, a deposit of £50 is required to secure a booking; the balance is payable 2 weeks prior to hire.

Reserving Numbered Seating
Particular coach seat numbers of your choice can be reserved in advance and are on a 'first come, first served' basis. The company reserves the right to change seat allocation or vehicle without notice.

Reduction for Senior Citizens and Children
Children under 2 years of age are carried free of charge provided they do not occupy a seat and that we are notified at the time of booking. Children over 2 years of age and Senior Citizens are often carried at reduced rates.

Insurance
Vision Travel Ltd do not provide insurance for our day trips or mini breaks, however you are more than welcome, and we would advise you to take out your own insurance to cover you for unexpected circumstances. Should a trip be cancelled by Vision Travel Ltd you will be reimbursed for the full cost of your trip.

Pick up Points and Times
Your confirmation which acts as your travel ticket, will confirm the exact departure time from your requested pick-up point, unless you are joining our feeder service, when we will confirm exact pick up times 5 days prior to the date of travel. All passengers are requested to be at their chosen pick-up point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The company will not be held responsible for the late arrival of passengers or passengers not being at the correct pick-up point. No refund will be made for passengers arriving after the scheduled departure time, nor shall the company be held responsible for the late arrival of coaches due to circumstances beyond our control (ie.traffic & weather conditions). Return times shown in our excursion programme leaflet are merely a guide.

Feeder Vehicles
To reduce coach pick up times to a minimum a feeder vehicle may be used and passengers transferred to meet the excursion coach at one of the main pick-up points. The feeder vehicle may be a coach, minibus or taxi.

For Your Comfort
The consumption of alcohol is NOT permitted and by law we operate a no smoking policy on all coaches. We appreciate the co-operation of smokers and remind them that frequent journey breaks are made and bookings are taken on this understanding.

Your Coach
Vision Travel Ltd cannot guarantee that the coach stated will be supplied. (This will only be in exceptional circumstances).

Unreasonable Conduct
We will refuse a booking or terminate a passenger’s travel in the event of unreasonable conduct.

Complaints
Complaints should be made in writing within 7 days of the excursion to our Head Office.

Cancellation, Refunds or Amendments
a. By the Company.
Should the circumstance arise where due to insufficient bookings we are forced to cancel any excursion, all monies paid by passengers for that particular excursion will be refunded in full and following that the company shall be exempt from any further liability.

b. By the Passenger.
You may cancel or amend your booking at any time prior to departure subject to the following conditions;

Cancellations made on day of excursions with less than 14 days notice are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Should you have to cancel your booking with more that 14 days notice we will refund you minus £5 administration charge.

Where entrance fees are involved, refunds will only be given on re-sale of tickets.

Wheelchairs
We will accept lightweight wheelchairs for travel, subject to them being able to be folded and stowed away in the luggage hold of the coach. We regret we are unable to accept wheelchairs weighing more than 20kg. This means we cannot carry battery powered wheelchairs or scooters that need to be taken apart for storage. We must be advised at the time of booking that a folding wheelchair is being taken on the trip as we also have to consider the luggage capacity of the coach, especially where overnight travel is included. Our drivers and escorts will be happy to provide general assistance to passengers but will not be expected to:- Provide assistance that extends to the bodily lifting and carrying of any customers on and off the coach. Undertake any action that may put their health, safety, welfare or the legal requirements for a break in duty at risk. Act as carers for customers at departure, during the journey or on arrival at destination.

Lost Property
Luggage is carried at the owner’s risk and we shall not be responsible for any property or equipment left on the coach. Any item of lost property will be held for a period of 1 month following the date of tour in accordance with the minimum regulation laid down by the Road Traffic Act 1960 & the Public Services Vehicles (Lost Property) Regulations 1995. France & Belgium
All customers must only bring back their personal allowance and we ask that they DO NOT ASK OTHERS to bring back anything else on their behalf.
